Routine Inspection Prep

Routine Tenancy inspections are usually carried out every 3 months during a tenancy to ensure the property is being well cared for and an opportunity to see if any major maintenance or health and safety issues are apparent. It is also a good time for you to let us know of any ongoing maintenance problems – like leaks under the kitchen sink and taps that might be dripping.

Most rental inspections last only about 10 - 15 minutes and consist of our Property Managers doing a brief inspection to check all appears to be in order as well as check for any major damage or potential problems. It is a good idea to prepare for the inspection and not leave everything to the night before. Our staff do appreciate that people are living in the property and overall, we are looking to make sure the house is clean and no obvious damage has occurred. It also gives us an opportunity to check that the lawns and gardens are being maintained.
