Have an opinion on the concept designs for a proposed new boating facility at Entrance Point? Have your say by taking the quick and easy survey. The Shire of Broome is progressing long-awaited plans for a new boating facility, with a public consultation period now open.
The Broome Boating Facility project has been in the pipeline for many years and is considered essential in ensuring the safety of residents and tourists taking to local waters.
With a concept design in place, the project proposes the construction of a small boating facility at Entrance Point with four ramp lanes and up to two finger jetties.
No capital dredging is anticipated as part of construction works, while the facility would be accompanied by approximately 160 parking bays.
The Shire of Broome is asking residents to have their say on the proposal with a community survey open from March 18 to April 16. For more information on the project and to take the survey, click here.
